March 23, 2007 was the 50th anniversary of the Triple Overtime NCAA National Championship Game between Kansas and North Carolina. In the end it was a one-point game with North Carolina scoring 54, and Kansas 53. King was a pivotal player in keeping the score so tight and making North Carolina sweat it out into a third overtime.
